John Dunn Said,
Can you fight a parking ticket? I got a ticket and the meter was broken.
admin Said,
Yes you can. There is a procedure by which you have to file a formal written objection to the ticket by a certain time frame. Please visit http://www.notojail.com for more information.
Steve Lee Said,
I got a carpool lane ticket that is bs. The cop got me just barely crossing the entrance. I couldn’t get into the lane. Is it possible to fight the ticket? I heard the ticket is ridiculous like 500 bucks or so.
admin Said,
Every person that has been issued a ticket has the right to be heard in court. However, most people think that is a hassle and there is no way they can win so they just pay it. Remember that the officer has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that you committed the violation. Visit http://www.notojail.com for further information.
Hizzy Said,
I was following the speed limit in a 65mph zone but I received a ticket for going 5mph over. The cop said he got me on radar and has the radar record# on ticket. I am certain that i was following the speed limit, how can they prove that the radar record belongs to my car and not a car around me on the road? What defense can I build against this?
